Meet your photographer

Hey! I’m Mikayla!

I’m so glad you’re here! I can’t wait to capture you, your partner, and your loved ones.

I am 26, married to my high school sweetheart, Tyler. We have a son together. He is our pride and joy, and also a rotten little turd.

We have 2 cats and chickens.

I started to enjoy photography at a young age when i was in 4-H. I would take photography projects to the Lorain County Fair as a child.

We should be friends if:

you enjoy gardening & being outdoors.

I’m not a huge city girl. I love being outside. And most of the summer you can find me barefoot unless im leaving to go to a store or something.

You’re a mom who loves talking about your birth story

You know how some people just act like they don’t get it.. or dont care? Yea- not me. I literally love hearing your stories and can relate with the scary ones. I often start to get teary eyed just listening to you guys. Birth is seriously amazing and women are so badass!

You kind of…maybe… say alot of swear words.

let me say i keep it clean at my sessions, but when I am home… I may be known to slip a lot of swear words into my stories and conversations… i like to call it adding a little “razzle dazzle”. However if you swear like a pirate, i think this may be the start of a beautiful friendship.

growing up around 5 uncles, and 4 brothers.. who hunt and tell lots and lots of stories… I come by it VERY HONESTLY.

Your kids have a tendency to be very feral

Feral children? no problem. I love feral children, thrive with feral children, even.

Growing up a feral child myself, i love kids who have a tendency to live on the wild side.

Like i said previously, being surrounded by boys my whole life, you could find me outside often, riding 4 wheelers, hunting and all that good stuff.

As much i love them, i would say most of my nieces and nephews are feral as well. My son? feral. ask my all about the things he eats. ask me about the things he climbs and how well he can tell me “NO!”

If your child is feral, and you have no problem laughing through the chaos, we should be friends.

You enjoy the little moments.

Not everything has to be perfect. Soaking in the small moments and embracing the chaos is a choice we make in life. We can chose to micromanage, nitpick, and be negative or just embrace the phase of life we are in.
